What We Handle

Common West Palm Beach Car Accidents

West Palm Beach crashes range from rear-end collisions in commuter traffic to severe intersection, pedestrian, rideshare, and commercial-vehicle accidents. The type of collision affects which evidence should be preserved and which insurance policies may apply.

DIG Law Group builds each claim around the specific facts: where the crash happened, how the vehicles moved, what the medical records show, which parties may be responsible, and how the injuries have affected daily life and work.

Rear-End Collisions
The most common crash type. Often caused by tailgating or distracted driving - liability is usually clear, but insurers still lowball whiplash and soft-tissue claims.
T-Bone Collisions
Side-impact crashes at intersections frequently cause severe injury because there's little structure between the occupant and the point of impact.
Head-On Collisions
Among the most catastrophic crash types. We move fast to preserve evidence and pursue every liable party, including commercial insurers where applicable.
Side-Impact Collisions
Often occurring at intersections or during lane changes - these cases frequently involve disputed fault that requires careful reconstruction.
Dram Shop / Negligent Alcohol Service
When a bar or establishment over-serves a visibly intoxicated patron who then causes a crash, the establishment may share liability for your damages.
Wrongful Death Accidents
We represent grieving families pursuing compensation for funeral costs, lost income, and the immeasurable loss of a loved one - with compassion and zero pressure.
Hit-and-Run Accidents
Even if the at-fault driver flees, your own uninsured motorist coverage often steps in. We investigate and pursue every available avenue of recovery.
Rollover Accidents
Often linked to SUVs, vans, or tire/vehicle defects - these cases may involve a product-liability claim against a manufacturer in addition to the driver.
Multi-Vehicle Accidents
Pile-ups involve layered liability and multiple insurance carriers. We untangle who's responsible so your claim doesn't get lost in the dispute.
DUI Accidents
Driving under the influence often supports punitive damages on top of standard compensation. We build the criminal record into your civil claim.
Texting & Distracted Driving
Phone records and app data can prove distraction at the moment of impact. We subpoena this evidence before it disappears.

Frequently Asked

Car Accident FAQ

The questions West Palm Beach car accident victims ask most often, answered plainly. If yours is not here, call us. The case review is free.

How long do I have to file a car accident lawsuit in Florida?
For many negligence claims arising from accidents on or after March 24, 2023, the limitations period is two years. Different deadlines and exceptions can apply, so have the specific facts reviewed promptly. See Florida Statutes §95.11.
Can I recover if I was partly at fault?
Florida applies modified comparative negligence to many claims. A claimant found more than 50% at fault generally cannot recover; at 50% or less, damages may be reduced by the assigned percentage. Exceptions can apply. See Florida Statutes §768.81.
What should I do after a West Palm Beach crash?
Call 911 when appropriate, get medical care, exchange information, photograph the scene if safe, identify witnesses, preserve records, notify your insurer, and get legal advice before giving the other insurer a recorded statement.
Does Florida no-fault insurance prevent a claim?
No. PIP may pay certain initial benefits regardless of fault, while a separate claim against an at-fault party may still be available when Florida's legal requirements are met.
What compensation may be available?
Depending on the facts, damages may include medical expenses, lost income, reduced earning capacity, property damage, and pain and suffering. Insurance limits and evidence affect what can be recovered.
What if the other driver was uninsured?
Uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage, coverage on another household policy, or another liable party may provide a route to recovery. The policies and crash facts need to be reviewed.
Should I accept the insurance company's first offer?
Do not sign a release until you understand the full extent of the injuries, future care, lost income, available coverage, and what rights the release ends. A free legal review can help evaluate an offer.
How much does DIG Law Group charge?
The initial evaluation is free. Personal injury cases are handled on a contingency-fee basis: there is no attorney fee unless there is a recovery. The representation agreement explains the terms.
